MacRaven & Mora has released their first CD project, "The Power of Three," comprised of Roger MacNaughton's instrumental compositions...music that is "melodic, romantic, serene, haunting, and passionate."

2016 ArtPrize

I am honored that my entry "Danse Solemn" was chosen for the juried award in the Classical Music category.

"Danse Solemn" is a 4-minute and 29-second piece scored for symphonic orchestra. I envision a dark, ritualistic, medieval dance.

I hope you will take a moment and view/listen to this work:

"5 Mile Mountain" is a piece that I composed in April of 2014 to commemorate our move to the beautiful hills of Cannon Township in West Michigan.  It features the gigantic talents of Charlie Hoats (fretless electric bass) and Eddie Eicher (drums.) This piece won the Jazz Category for Time-based ArtPrize entries. Thanks to all who voted!

You can hear all 3 minutes and 40 seconds of it at my ArtPrize site
